Amcrican Education Group (AEG) asked us to write and design a brochure for their Lexis Preparatory Schools. Sallie worked with AEG and Lexis staff to craft a message aimed at prospective parents, promoting all the key differences that a Lexis education could make for students.
We laid out an attractive presentation of text and images in a tri-fold brochure. An inserted sheet of additional academic information was added later to the package.

Paper Moon Decorating approached us to create a web site for them. A local painting and wallpapering team of “two meticulous women” needed a web presense to help promote their services.
We collaborated with them regarding the most important points about their business. Sallie then wrote the text and David worked with some color preferences to create a design (more…)

American Education Group asked us to create their 2008 holiday card. We came up with a clever concept which played off their “A+” brand mark. The “A” played the role of a Christmas tree, while the “+” was bright star in the sky. Yes, feel free to hum “Christmastime is here” if you so desire.
We also came up with an interior message which allowed their core values acronym of EPIC! to be featured — Excellence, Passion, Innovation, Courage, ! (It’s that important).

National Heritage Academies (NHA) operates over 60 charter schools in six states. We were asked to edit and design the curriculum handbooks for grades K-8 and Specials (Art, Physical Ed, Foreign Language, Music) and other categories. This also involved adding state-specific information for each grade/topic.
We worked closely with NHA staff to create a work flow to edit and design each section of information, whether it was system-wide, grade-specific or state-specific. Then each book was assembled with the appropriate (more…)

National Heritage Academies (NHA) asked us to produce their Annual Education Report. The purpose of this report is to provide information on how their group of charter schools are performing, comparing to each other and to national standards.
David created an attractive layout, combining many graphs and charts, statistics and school information. Sallie worked with NHA staff to write the executive summary and edit the school capsules.
